Alisa Rumi Kitamura

Alisa Kitamura is the founder of RR PRJCTS, a strategic brand and business consultancy working across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, wellness, retail, hospitality, finance, and consumer goods. Educated in both the sciences and the arts, she brings a global, interdisciplinary perspective to building brands and organizations that align strategy, creativity, and performance.

After more than a decade in senior leadership roles across global and enterprise organizations including Macy’s, Aesop, James Perse, HUF, Alexander Wang, Louis Vuitton, and Issey Miyake, Alisa founded RR PRJCTS to address a gap she repeatedly encountered: companies often receive strong ideas, but lack the structure, alignment, and support needed to carry those ideas through growth, change, and scale. RR PRJCTS was created to partner more deeply with teams, offering strategic clarity alongside practical execution.

Her work spans brand portfolios, international expansion, leadership development, and the design of governance and performance systems that support evolution without dilution. Known for stepping into organizations at any stage, Alisa partners closely with founders, executives, and teams to build clarity, resilience, and long-term value across cultures and markets.

Alongside her professional practice, Alisa is actively involved in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation and is an artist whose creative practice is rooted in observation, form, and connection within the natural world. These disciplines inform her approach to leadership and strategy, shaping work that is thoughtful, adaptive, and deeply human in spirit.
